It is the bust of a certain Dobrogeanu Gherea.

This man of Russian origin brought the Bolshevik Revolution to Romania as early as 1917!

He later became the ideologist of the Romanian Marxist Socialist movement and inspired...
...a certain Nicolae Ceausescu!

What is truly surprising is that this statue wasn’t toppled after 1989!
