Just outside Kamari, specifically in the village of Mesa Gonia, lies the small church of Panagia Episkopi.

This Byzantine church, built in 1115, is considered one of the oldest on the island.

Its interior, carved in wood, is truly remarkable, especially considering it dates back to the 12th century!

Unfortunately, photos are prohibited inside, certainly to preserve the place's serenity.
